Why I Am Getting A Mr. T Makeover

I have a full Mr. T makeover in my near future. At work, we launched a week of dares to benefit five local charities.

I’m one of the suckers that agreed and will be transformed into Mr. T (mohawk and all) at the studio on Wednesday, August 16th. My goal is to raise $500 for Sibling Connections. It’s a really great organization I have volunteered with since 2005 that provides year-round programs for siblings placed in separate foster homes. This is the program that brought my daughter Jelissa into my life.

I always hate asking for donations, but at least this time I have something to offer in return —  looking completely ridiculous for many weeks. So if you can give $1 or $10 or whatever, every little bit counts, and it all goes to some very very deserving kids.
